I like the last one as a B&W more than color...one is a muddy waterway, the other has a strong river dynamic...loaded up on sugar, so to speak.

I think you need to show these to a certain Scotsman ;D Great sense of power captured in 3 and 4. A really impressive set Rob I think you have got the shutter speed bob on for these not too fluffy not too sharp.

Image 1, you have captured good movement in the water, plus nice to see a bit of colour in it. I did think the waterfall was a bit central, but I can see why you composed this way, as that fern is eye catching. Image 2, this is one of my favourite waterfalls in this area, and your close up image has worked well, having three main flows of water. Image 3, this is my favourite out of your set, with a good range of tones and no blown water. Image 4, good curves and lines in this one with the flow of water, and having just the one boulder, gives a good focal point. Image 5, I felt this would be a stronger image with the top third cropped off.

very good photos, i agree with barry on cropping, if you want to know how much to crop just look at the bit you want to loose, cover the main part up and see if there is anything interesting in it, if its boring then crop away
