Was taking the child to work, so I grabbed my camera to do some shots off the bridge at sundown...stormy weather and great clouds...only when I got there, i had her camera and the lens only focuses in manual and my diopter and hers are quite different...so, I played a guessing game (badly) and in the end, did some tomfoolery.

I tried to think of something witty to say about why the diopters would be quite different, but came up blank. I like it. I like the blackness of the trees and the color of the sky.

Diopters are the same but set to two different sets of eyes...I'd probably kill anyone that touched mine and am pretty sure she'd set fire to me when I went to bed if I changed hers...
In this photo, rather than eliminate any noise, I added a ton of it...just for kicks.

Nice shot Chris! I love the sillouette(sp), and the noise is very uniform so I feel it only adds more character and an air of mystery to the photo.

It is a striking photo, Chris. Could you not use the noise to advantage, by adding some sort of textured layer? I don't think I've ever seen you do the texture thing, but you're into stretching yourself, aren't you?

I think he likes to get everyone to stretch themselves in their photography. He is most definitely a teacher. And, a good one, I think.
