Playing with my new toy - SEPv2. Like a lot of folks I find it easy to overdo stuff when given all those sliders! Are these OK - or overdone - or ..... Thanks for looking. #1 #2

I think the first image would had worked better if there was no snow on the ground, then the grass would be darker and maybe the boats would had stood out better.
Now the second image has a great sky and I like the way that the shoreline leads your eye up to the castle, but I can't make up my mind about the seat, I would like to bring it down towards the lower left hand corner and face it towards the castle.
But the overall processing on both images look good to me, just lately I have been using SEP2 to get a good overall B&W effect, then use Cannockwolf's suggestion of having a underexposed layer and a overexposed layer and paint in more darkness and lightness.

I like the second photograph very much. However, I would like it to have more room to the right side what would mean to counter balance the castle with the Sun and a different crop ratio. That is if you wish to keep the sky which I think you should because it is fabulous. The bench, which we have seen before in this scenario/landscape is a great detail helping the composition with more lines toward the castle, one important element in this landscape. It's a good work and very nice.
