I've been toying with this image for the better part of this month...mostly as a result of seeing cannockwolf's compositie images with such dynamic skies. To that end, I've been shooting as many cloud shots as possible, but will have to wait until this summer when I can get out into the middle country plains and get the long sweepers. First shot was a decent, but not great bridge shot as the sun was cracking the horizon, and the second (the clouds), moments after the sun was fully up...but, I had to reverse the clouds to make the sun direction correct, then blend then in with the other image of the bridge. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

the lamp posts look wrong mate, have you got rid of all the light edges as there seems to be an outline around them, when i cut my skies in i usually can visibly see the pixels im in that close, and i find it stops this 'haloing' of edges.
also you've missed a hole in the second leg from the left on the thirds lione
the sky looks good though, cant beat a good sky!

Chris you certainly have some patience messing with those lamp standards The sky looks great and I think you have got the lighting on the water and sky just about right. That is difficult with a colour image. I like this image but I think that ideally the right hand end of the bridge should be terminating on the right third vertical. It looks truncated as it stands.
