Nina, this appeals to me. Quite a bit I must say. Nice exposure and comp. And great color. While busy....it works. I would be curious to see if it still worked in B&W.

Very nice Nina. Quite mesmerising. My first thoughtt was for B&W but actually I think the colour works well to separate the tree from the background. Good Job

I believe it is the lighting that makes this image work, as the main subject is nicely lit while the background trees appear darker. For me this image needs to stay in colour.

Keep the color...the B&W, while nice isn't half the image this is...nice shot, puddinhead.

I like this a lot Nina. A good natural abstract and as others have commented, beautiful light. I had a go at a few people some time back about the futility of photographing trees...unless you go for solitary subjects or get close in as you have done.

Nina, I like this a lot. You've managed the simple / complicated trick very well with this. The warm colours help, and the hook of trees with very little green just helps it along. Nice big print on mat paper is in order me thinks.
