I will second that. Beautiful processing and liquid light. You do realise we will be analyzing your colour workflow for the net six weeks

The muted colours so suit the landscape. Very impressive.

My first impression was the image lacked contrast and contained over saturated yellows and greens. The greens I found the most troubling in the background, whilst the yellows in the foreground almost sickly in intensity...perhaps that's too strong, but not pleasantly yellowish. Partly, your previous work leads one to expect the same treatment, so leaves anything else looking boringly plain. I opened yours as a simple jpeg, applied a B& layer, contrast and two exosure layers as you so nicely suggested, worked the darks way down, perked up the whites substantially, then dropped your original back atop the reworked piece and very gently erased your layer to reveal my layer. In the two examples below, the erasures in the first were much heavier than in the second. It is quite possible I got a bit heavy-handed, but it was late and these were quick edits.

Actually, the more I think about it, the lightness of the shot is really what makes the shot work for everyone in the first place. there is a much more real sense of atmospheric interplay between the sky and the gound and the light plays better across the whole landscape.
Though, I still think the greens are just too green (especially in the upper left) and the grasses in the foreground need brightening.
