Tried to tone down the contrast a bit more, yet retain some of David's tonal work along with some I have developed. Too little, Too Much or Just Right?

I think you'll find that is reflected light off the chrome rim...weird, but true.

I like the balance / look just the way it is. I wonder if it might improve a tad if you cleaned up the converging lines on the road, in the foreground?

Chris, this really jumps out at you and a good conversion. The tree against the sky in the background look a little odd...almost infra red looking but thats a small niggle I just love the way the car pushes its snout right out of the frame. i am guessing too that a colour version would be just as imposing.

I did the trees deliberately that way...did a B&W layer and pushed the yellow way up...I needed something to overemphasize the leaning trees to help push the car way forward.
