The local town of "Sainte Severe-sur-Indre" at 10:00pm - most rural French towns end their day at sunset, after that, it is rare to see anyone or anything on the streets.

I like this, you have managed to record a good range of tones and monochrome works well. I presume that this is not a recent image, as you have retained some good detail in the sky (and 10.00pm here would be pitch black). Lighting from the two streelights, work well, and I like the f16 starry effect from them. Composition wise, my eye is drawn down that road towards the monument and lit up house, then back up the left side of houses, over crossing to right side.
