I'm walking back to my car from a sunset shoot and I look up an see the clouds breaking up...a bit further up the pathway, I notice the moon is only slightly surrounded by light, wispy clouds...and, f;13 @ 1/250, manual focus, 55-300 later, i have this lovely shot...unfortunately, my ISO was set at 640 for a previous shot and it is a bit grainier than I would like.

Well, 'perfect' or not - I wish I could take one like that. I think it's lovely! Really lovely! Oh, my goodness! I know what it makes me think of....Jimmy Zangwow's out-of-this-world moon-pie adventure. Written and beautifully illustrated by Tony DiTerlizzi! Here's a link but I can't easily find the inside pages that I'm thinking of on the internet. So, this has a pleasing quality, for me, to it. www.amazon.com/Jimmy-Zangwows-This-World-Moon-Pie-Adventure/dp/0689822154#reader_0689822154
