Taken 3 weeks ago, during a business trip to Germany, the place I stayed was a old walled German town , about 1 sq km inside the wall were olde worlde streets and shoppes, very quaint. Here is an early evening shot (5:20pm), taken towards the church with a paved side street with small coffee shop in the foreground. It's a bit of a cliche/postcard shot, but I loved the clear cold evening light contrasting with the warm street lights. Please excuse the haloing on some of the edges .

Oh cliche away...though a note: One my screen, the warmth turns a bit to the chill magenta side and I am wondering if a little color filter mask might help keep that warmth more toward the warm side.

Please feel free to have a go if you feel it would improve the lighting, I have opened up my images for editing.

You could almost walk into this picture, which reminds me so much of the great time I had in Meersburg on Lake Constance. I like the colour balance which conveys both that winter chill and the warmth of the street lights.
