Not sure that these are working for me, I don't really feel it is the right subject for high key work. But I do like the composition of your first image, just crop a bit off the top, this would then put the viaduct on the thirds, the sky looks as if it has some good detail in it, and I like the reflections in the water. Maybe lose that horrible street light thou.

This my first foray into hi-key BW, I know it is usually face and body portraiture, but I thought I would give it a try with these. I must admit, I'm not over-keen myself...but I'm astounded at the detail it can bring out without having to resort to basic contrasting or tonal contrasting. That bit was quite unexpected.
I have re-worked as more traditional BW, using the crop as you suggested (I think?) and lost the streetlight.

There is a part of me that quite likes it. The detail held my attention as I studied it. I am currently without a conclusion. I do like the second as it is a great scene and nicely converted.
