Love these! I see you got there soon after the snowfall and air frost struck! You successfully captured the cold, fresh and crispy feel after the frost.

I prefer the composition of the second image, having the horizon and tree on the separate thirds, and the track drawing your eye into the image. But both show a nice cold crisp day.

Thanks for the comments I forgot to add the EXIF #1 - ISO 100, F4.5, 1/1000 taken at 29mm +1EV #2 - Iso 100, F5.6, 1/400 taken at 46mm +1EV

Niggle-niggle, but I'd lose the post and the sign in the second one and just let the track in the snow carry me onward and onward.
