When I first scrolled down there was an optical illusion, the water somehow seemed to be moving. lol I like this Chris, old/new. As I look at it I am wondering if you actually need the sky and railing above the bridge. Without it the corelation between old and new becomes even more the subject for me. Not sure myself quite yet. Good image though, I like the foreground pilings.

I like the composition but the colours look a bit flat. Have you tried a mono version, maybe with a bit of doom and gloom added. And if you are feeling saucy, a new sky ;D

The B&W doesn't want to work well with this image. I worked last night on a new version with a bumped sky and will have another go at it later this week...not sure about a "new" sky as I think it might provide too much a conflict with the story.
