I recentely found an older image I did on the local train station. It was shot during one of the few quiet moments when the big streams of people are already at work, home or college.

I like it Jeroen and the over exposed areas add to the whole effect in my opinion. It is a simple image with plenty of stories to tell...very 'Brief Encounter' especially with the clock.

What time of day did you take this ;D.
I like the fact that you only have one person in the shot, as it seems to give the image more of a remote feel. The railway lines and platform seemed to draw you into the image and the darker left hand side then bounces your eye up into that roof space. The clock also breaks up that darker area well. although I may had been tempted to remove that bright area just below clock at 5 o'clock.

Very atmospheric shot, I agree with Steve about the over exposed outside being right for this. A thought provoking image.

Thank you all for your comments. Barry, I agree with you and made a version with the bright spot cloned out. Any better?

Much better as my eye kept being drawn to it.

Wow, what a difference that made - the whole image seems to be cleaner. Very good call Barry.
