I went down to the Gower again yesterday, and ended up near this old lighthouse again as the tide was out. So I thought I would try a few different views. This is my favourite, but not too sure if it works or not, as I wanted to keep some detail in the lighthouse itself and I did not have my tripod with me to make multiple exposures. Image 1 Nikon D700, f14, 1/1600, ISO200, Sigma 24-70 f2.8 at 48mm. Edited version of Image 1 Image 2 Image 3

Hello Barry, I like this, and being the miserable staid old git that I am I'd never have attempted it. I think there is a bit of red lens flare – on the right side of the lighthouse shadow. Also, although the horizon is OK – the lighthouse is falling over backwards and leaning to the right a touch. If that is deliberate please accept my apologies.

Cheers Nick, I never noticed that red flair until your mentioned it. I will have a play and get rid of that, plus I will have a look at distorting that lighthouse a bit.

Barry, I am right there with Nick and will add that there is also a green flare below the red? Almost looks like stem and flower.

Paul, I can now see the green as well, this was lens flair, as I had already removed some, but missed this bit. Anyway I'm out tonight, so will have a play tomorrow, as I have a few more viewpoints to edit of this lighthouse.

Ok, I have now up-righted the lighthouse and removed the lens flair. Also added two more versions, Image 2 with the sun just alongside the lighthouse, I was trying to get where the light would had been, but could not quite get there. And version 3 from the other side, with the sun lighting up the lighthouse.
