I have a hankering to see where the guy is going in the first. The second, if I'm honest doesn't do it for me, particularly with your usual posts in mind.

The second one is just a good practice shot with a challenging light...lots of backlight.

The first image is for me as well, but agree a lower viewpoint would had brought in some water to where he was obviously heading.

I deliberately cropped it out as I didn't think it germaine to his intention.

The first is a beaut Chris. Comp is great but does it have a blue/green cast?

I like the first one Chris. That sand looks like snow again ;D
I can appreciate the second one just for the light.

At the time of morning when this was shot, it is nearly impossible (if possible at all) to get a white on white look. There is simply too much blue sky/green water reflecting off the sand. I might try some filters later and see what I can do.

Easy fix...and I know it so well, I promptly forgot to apply it to my own image...
