Lovely, Chris! Man, I love the ocean!
I like the crop in #2 best but like the processing for both #1 and 2
To me, in #1, the color of the water and the textures are beautifully subtle but more noticeable - which I like. But, then, just like you said, in #2 - the waves are dancing and plashing in a wonderful way - nicely light and airy.

I am for #2 as well Chris, I like the nice clear and clean feel of it. The fist seems a bit muddy and drab and the B&W just leaves me flat. I think the B&W beggs for a more dramatic sky to work better.
