This view reminded me of the Valley of the Kings with all the hidden chambers and entrances....okay, so I stayed up late and watched Tomb Raider...

Chris – I can see why you took this one. I'd like to think I'd have spotted it too ….. well – in my dreams. I like it very much – can't see any improvements – changes – maybe. How about a square crop of the bottom half? Monochrome ? Oh – and you can quit cheating now – just put that blue paint can away!

Nick seems to think this square crop adds more depth and possibly, more intrigue...what do you think?

Certainly does it for me Chris. The additional contrast has helped a great deal too

Chris, I prefer the square crop too. It adds some mystery as the image appears to be darker and the very dark square entrance (?) at the bottom becomes proportionally bigger. More dynamic over-all for me.

The square one is my favorite too. By cropping off the top lighter part you get more attention on your subject. Nice pic btw. I should pass by and even didn't notice the possibility of a nice pic...

Square crop works for me as well Chris. I get the feeling of wanting to explore what the openings lead to, which the first version did not give me.

…. well – I think that will be a Yes then, Chris. Oh … just mail in the consultant fee – I don't do house calls. (as Bill Cosby once said)
