I wish there was a little girl who just got off from the bus inside the frame, Katy. Not to sound critical but in my opinion a little vignette would help. I like this. Hope that I could see some more of these style from you aside from the flower shots.

Great scene Katy. Like Jiro says, its good to try some different subjects every once in a while. The sweeping road really gives the image depth. The top of the frame looks quite bright compared to the bottom so maybe a graduated ND layer would help to balance it out a bit. I think it would also help to enhance the story that the bus is gone and can't be caught. Something like this maybe? Hope you don't mind

Hope that I could see some more of these style from you aside from the flower shots. I have, indeed, had this thought that I could, possibly "shoot" something more than flowers.... ;D I do LOVE flowers, though. The comment about the vignette is rather funny - I've been suggesting it to everyone else....in almost every comment that I've made, this week. and, there is one there - I learned that from good old DDC, last year! ;D ;D ;D I'll make it stronger. and, Steve, there is a GND added in pp but, er, going the other way...from bottom to top - the road just seemed blinding, at first. And, this is what is driving me nuts, these days. I burn things down and then brighten them up - back and forth. It's the spring light, I think - I'm having a hard time, for some reason. Perhaps, actually, it's the brightness of the blossoms and trying to get that soft but strong feeling in the branches - or, maybe, there's A LOT of reflected light, these days - there might be something in that. I'm struggling! Ah, but my singing is going super wicked well!!! haha haaaaaa!

I like this, the road has a nice curve in it drawing your eye towards the bus, but agree with Steve about the brightness of the sky drawing your eye, but felt that Steve's edit has made the top of the image rather dull, so why not go for a crop off the top instead, as this would also put the bus more on the thirds.

Thanks, Nick! Thanks, Barry! I read this before but am just now getting back to it. I cloned in some branches over the top - I love the TALL overarching trees - and then just pulled down the small crop that I had, a wee bit. I'd like it if you guys could check my brightness - exposure - or too dull....these cloudy days have been really unendingly bad light - just not bright enough.... I don't know what to do with it. WOuld appreciate your advice but...right now.... Gotta go! Kapwing!

Katy, I like your edited version. That little bit of cloning in and cropping off has definitely focussed me more on the wee bus. As far as the whole exposure thing goes, to my somewhat uneducated eye it looks fine. There is enough lightness in it to make it appealing and enough darkness to give it depth around the edges.
