Some time ago I posted this as a tight cropped, gritty, soot and whitewash monochrome. I did that to disguise the fact that it was seriously underexposed. I've now redone the pp, and thanks to more modern tools it's now reasonable - noise wise. So - what do you think? 5D 215mm f8 @1/60sec ISO 800 hand held (gulp)   |

The monochrome version looks so much better with good contrast.

I prefer the mono, to be honest. Just that bit more gritty and there.
