Joe, something about those flowers I like. Can't quite put my finger on it but it works for me. The shots of the creek and forrest....I always have some difficulty with these types of shots. It shows a nice place but always seems to be difficult to get good subject isolation. I like #2 the best of those.

Thanks Paul. I feel the same about those images. A nice place for sure. Seems like alot to take in. I like # 2 the best also. Yep, something about those flowers. I was playing with PP and I liked the way they glowed. Sets them apart from the kind of dark presence of the pads.

I agree with Paul about how hard it is to get shots of roots and trees and streams...but #2 has a richness and depth that I like about it. Does it need cw rotation? I love the idea of looking through the square.... too bad that, on closer inspection, the view has those man made influences through it. I like the last one! Just do... Don't take anything I say too seriously tonight, though... 'kay?

Agree with Katy that number 2 with a clockwise rotation would be a stronger image and for me the best of the bunch. Tough subject.
