Dave, I like both versions of this – and on balance I think this colour one is the better of the two. I wonder if there is a way to give the left hand edge of the building a little more “separation” from the sky – it's just a little ill defined at the moment – perhaps? Do you plan to print this on matte paper?

Nick, on the big file the separation is fine so ill leave that as it would look false if i edited it, ill probably will print it for the club comps next year, its my first go at competing at club level, but not sure of which paper to use just yet, i have some nice permajet papyrus that may work

Ah – fair enough. Some images scale better that others. I can see that a textured matte might do the job. I've just started to play with matte paper myself. I've had a go with Pinnacle Smooth Fine Art – so far quite promising. BTW they do think of daft names for this stuff don't they? Good luck with the club comps. By next year I take it you mean next season – starting in the September (ish)? I'm going to try a couple of clubs up here in our new area. One is PAGB affiliated and one is independent.
