These are a bit cliche I know, but I have been meaning to get some shots like this for 2 years now and other factors have always conspired against me. #1 #2 #3 (what set would be complete from me without a fisheye shot

Yes, Steve, I think that the eye has the firmest anchor point in #1, making it the most pleasing and very nice indeed. If this is a cliché, it is one I have long been wanting to pursue: golden bales on a ridge against the backdrop of a big Manitoba sky.

Thanks Chris and Janis. SEP 2 certainly has a few improvements over the first version.

Steve, it is number one for me but although i am all for breaking rules I do feel that the main bale should have been on the l/h third. Great conversions all round. A quiet word in your shell like; scrub the lamp standard the first shot

Thanks for the comments Steve. Well spotted on the street lamp I tried to get a few with the bale on the third intersect line but every way I tried, it seemed to not have the rest of the bales lining up right I have spoken to the farmer though and he has promised not to be so reckless in his bale placement next year

I should think so too. They give no thought at all to our compositions

While I like #1 I feel the need to rock the boat, #3 is somehow hypnotic for me. Love it!

#1 also for me, Steve. The B&W conversion is also very good. Well done.
