I took the family camping in the peak district this weekend. Great fun. Here is one from Bakewell.

Wow! I love the detail in this one. I can tell it has been lovingly processed.
I am glad you had a great time.

It is amazing what different details emerge from this view. The water and foreground come more into focus here, and I can appreciate a fishy's view. The bridge itself gains a different perspective, as does the expanse of sky.
I still prefer the first, but both are equally well converted. The water has retained its liquid quality, while the rest of the detail is tack-sharp.

Loved the first one, Steve. A bit too contrasty and sharp for me but still very nice. Great work, man!

Really gorgeous conversions Steve. I see what Jiro is saying but it is only a touch. The skies are really well captured. You have managed to keep noise out of the conversions too. Are you using SEP - that is where the problems seem to be for some

Thanks for the comments Steve - I have upgraded to SEP2 and it seems to have fixed the noise problems that I was having before.

Steve, Lovely work. #1 is the better IMHO. Like others, I think the water has a real liquid quality - the opposite of a stop motion look. The whole has a luminous look / feel to it as well. Maybe a tad bright - but a matter of taste rather than a failing. This is a million miles from the trad soot and whitewash look - and all the better for it IMHO.

It's a very nice composition, Steve, and a pretty scene. Perhaps a little bright/harsh, but I see it was 15:40 when taken. Some of the SEP pre-sets add a lot of grain, which can look like noise.
Brave man camping this year! I'm off on Wednesday but only for one night.

Nicely done Steve. I will third what Jiro has posted but as said only slightly. I am also enjoying your use of the fisheye, it looks to be a fun lens to use. I have toyed with the idea of getting one just to see what I could do with it.

Brave man camping this year! I'm off on Wednesday but only for one night. It was nearly only one night for us when it rained from the moment we arrived on Friday until about 5am saturday morning. Fortunately it brightened up saturday and stayed dry until the tent was packed away Sunday morning. In fact, it stayed dry until we were exactly half way into a walk.
