Hey, you guys... I've got like a major wedding to shoot this weekend, and just to show my professionalism I went out and blew £500 on a new camera - well, when you can afford it, why not? It's a no-brainer. But having a real panic attack now with two days to go as I just discovered that the film holder is square! Am I missing something? Is there a new film on the market that comes in a square casing? I found this film and bought one. But although the box is square, when I opened it the damn thing was round! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

Rob,
Relax! Take deep breaths... It happens. If the camera doesn't work our way, lets work it's way. Maybe you should contact Panasonic people. May be Kodak & Panasonic are not friends and don't accommodate each other. How about chucking out the film altogether ( if it refuses to accommodate one) & insert a battery in that square casing? Just give it a shot. You never know.

Have you tried a 110 cartridge, it might go in with a bit of persuasion I have to tell you Rob that your camera just won't be up to the job of shooting a wedding until you add some accessories. You need a battery grip (to make it look bigger and thus more proffessional), and a really big and bright neck strap (to make it look more professional). Of course, you then need to carry it in a really big bag (to make it look more professional).

Should I also get a fast flashy motor - one of those with the picnic trays on the rear window? Subaru, is it? And what about one of those blue blazers with the silver buttons? I've already doused my head with hair products...

Maybe you should contact Panasonic people. They don't exist. It's just a Series 3 droid in a vast windowless warehouse somewhere in the far east.

Perhaps the problem is because it is made in China...

Captured by a Sarnian Princess who has put me deep under her spell. Although I do get to roam the wastes of Cyberia as her familiar..a Tod called Wire ....when the moon is waxing. That..work, children and a fast track divorce...you can do the pics if you like. I even have some film in the freezer you can have...if my youngest daughter hasn't eaten it. She paid me a visit from Uni and emptied the contents into a hold all before scurrying off again. She is a bit posh for me now...Director of Photography on her first film at the Northern School of film. From the photos she sends me it looks like she is making the most of it.... And its a good job I am open minded...she got her second tatoo (I approved the design of course) Just thankful it wasn't what she had written on her arm Sent from my GT-I9100 using proboards
