This was taken in 2003 with my first digi, an HP Photosmart 618. It was a gift from my wife and I was bowled over. She also gave me an HP P1000 photo printer. Still have both. The 618 is a 2MP camera  Utah by gmontjr, on Flickr |

Great picture George. I remember that sense of wonderment at the first digi cameras. The first one I had was a Fuji. It had no memory card, just internal memory and could only take 5 pictures before it was full. mind you that wasn't a problem because the batteries only lasted for four or five images too  But it absolutely blew me away that I could press the shutter and literally a couple of minutes later have it on the computer monitor or print it. |
