All three are some really nice work Rob, I think 3,1,2 are the order in which the appeal to me.

3 is really great, I wouldn't have thought of stitching two shots together for that, must get that into my thick head at some point.
Also like number 2, which would look at home on many walls.

In this case the trees were tall and I couldn't step back much. With the camera in portrait mode I didn't have enough width to the shot even though I had the height. So taking two was the solution. Thanks for the comments.

Thanks Rob – they are a treat. I especially like the glow and low light source in #3. I like the way the sidelight sends streaks of colour up into the tree canopy. Any chance of giving it more glow / colour / vibrancy? Also, I'm curious to see a colour version of #2 – please!

I don't think it will go much more, but I'll try. I'll do a colour version of #2 later and post.

I really must try stitching sometime. Might you do us all a nice, simple tutorial on how this is so niftyly accomplished? I gouess it woul dbe interesting to see #2 as a color image but as a B&W, I like it quite much. What was the final output size?

The last one os 3800x4300 pixels - about 16MP after cropping.
