Eh Wot! No Pearls?
Try a square crop that eliminates more of the top and a lot of the left side.

Eh, no pearls. No oyster crabs either - just small mussels and barnacles attached to the outsides. The oysters were very, very yummy. I can thank my dad for teaching me how to shuck safely. ;D ;D ;D

Glad to see you know only to eat oysters in a month with an R in it. The exception down here is September and April because the Gulf hasn't cooled sufficiently.

Oysters are at their very best around Thanksgiving. We used to eat oyster stew, oyster stuffing, patted oysters, etc for about these 4 weeks from the 3rd week in November to Christmas.
These oysters reminded me of the Chincoteague oysters we used to get off the trucks. Sweet, salty and fat.
