Oh my! I think I am going to LOVE this lens.  A little less modifying   It was much too early, too little quality light to shoot any fast movers..Will go for some birds, etc later today...right now just reveling (wallowing) in this tack-sharp piece of glass. |

Yup, that looks every bit as good as I'd expect - no worries on the lens quality there. Now I missed something along the way here - did you / are you going to go to a full frame camera?

This is the older version of the 70-200 which works nicely with the DX format. I chose a better lens over a full frame camera...

Knowing that good glass can make a difference.....it always amazes me how much difference. Looks really nice so far Chris. While my 16-50 is a nice piece, I didn't remove my 400 for months after getting it. lol
