I still prefer the color version. Macromeister's assessment of subject matter for black and white (bigger blobs of black and bigger blobs of white) is valid.

And, that water is about 38 degrees. Right chilly in the summer months, downright freezing the rest of the year. I didn't fancy my lens or camera needed the shot that badly.

The bright part in the middle is really bright...a bit too much for me. Glad you and your gear didn't go for a a chilly swim.
