Perhaps it would be worse if I said you gave them away for free...

When I get up i will post an example. Oh, please do! Sounds fascinating. But what do you mean by "when I get up"? Whatever's got you down, dear 'Rie?

I forgot about the insomnia. I am a chronic amnesiac. The map is very cool. Do you understand what all the individual markings represent? And do you speak German? I see you have violated the prohibition against Nachdruck and Vervielfaltigang on my behalf. I hope you don't lose even more sleep because of it.

Today I am up wandering the house at 2am. Regarding the copyright, I am glad that you can read it. I was concerned that the clarity of the map suffered upon downsizing. ;D I can read a little German, but cannot speak it.i did provide English translations where required by the author. This map was one of the smaller ones. Some of my biggest ones are over 300mb and are pieced from over 25 scanned images.

Beautiful picture Rie.
It would be good if you could put a bit of texture back into the sidewalk.

Thanks, Steve for commenting. I tried a few times, but got edges or muddy (patch). Any thoughts on how to get texture back in?

Its time consuming but the photoshop patch tool can be used to copy a texture rather than straight cloning. It's been a while since I tried it but there are a few tutorials around that may help.

I use a few actions for adding texture...works well for adding texture back to denim, brick, concrete etc.
