The second one looks like distorted eyeglasses. I love shots like this but know that if I am making such a shot, it's too damn cold for human survival - well, at least in NW Florida.

I might be tempted to use +6 brightness, +5-7 contrast and +5 structure rather than high structure smooth...these seem a bit more gritty than need be.

Done a few like these myself and yes it is cold work. #2 and #3 are my picks and I would agree with Chris on the gritty aspect.
