We've had a bit of the white stuff over the last week. Apparently there is more on the way for this weekend. Managed to get out in the sunshine and bag these. I hope you enjoy. #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6

Very nice. I prefer 5 in terms of color. The others seem to have almost an odd yellow green cast on my monitor. It could just be me.

Gotta love winter light. Nice series, Nick. Maybe a very slight green cast other than bossibly the last image. Slight green and slight blue both perhaps, in the last?

Great job Nick
3,4 and 6 are my favourites in that order. 3 is a real Christmas card shot.
I think you got out at the perfect time, not too much snow, a bit of colour in the sky but not too harsh light for the shadows.
I recognise the bridge from the summer/autumn shots.

Thanks to Marie, Paul, Steve, and Chris. The colour thing is a little worrying – I guess I pushed the sliders a bit too far. That tends to show up variations in white balance between parts of the image that are in sunshine or in shadow.

Very nice. Snow scenes always remind me of the quietness that a heavy snowfall brings...especially first thing in the morning before the world has awoken. Thanks for the reminder. I don't see a color cast at all. Hmmmm.....

Mary, I confess that trying to calibrate my monitor is a PIA. I still have not gotten the success I wanted. I suspected the problem was me, not Nick. . I do know my images are going to the printer too dark, and I have had to adjust for that. 'Rie

I'm not calibrated at all. But, I don't see a color cast on my PC, iPhone, iPad, or my old old old Dell work laptop.

Beautiful shots! Sure do miss the snow. We are in shorts and T-shirts here coming to the end of January. Unbelieveable!

Lovely work, my favourite is #5 as well, it gives me a sense of being there rather than just looking from afar if that makes sense
