Pretty. I like the vintage look of the first one...but, really like the one with the fence. Why? Well...because...I like fences. I'm just that technical.

I know...not very original.

I am with Chris on his pick. I will add though....that the electric fence may not have been a bad thing, I bet you would have warmed up quickly with all your muscles contracting. ;D

I was lucky that the electric fence I was touching to get this was off I didn't see it until I was climbing back over. It could have recharged your camera battery? I like #1, although perhaps a crop off the bottom? The fence shot is good, but I find the colour in the fence holds my attention too much. Perhaps it would be improved in BW? You seem to have got the exposure just right in all of them. Did you over-expose (as you normally need to)?

I like the fence on the angle as well, gives us somewhere to stand whilst we're admiring the view

I thought the split toning would be a flop but I am pleased people like it. I wasn't sure about the colour and think you are right that it's better to go mono than try to hang on to what little colour there was. For the shots taken with the 24-105 I used +2/3 of a stop exp comp. Then just a levels tweak in PP to set the black and white points. The 8mm super wide I used on some of them is manual only but it lets so much light in that I normally have to knock it down a full 2 stops compared to the 24-105.

Steve, I like the second to last the best too. What is it with me and benches? I think you've done well with such flat light and bland sky – at least I had side light and then mist to help me!
