We had another major dump last night. The city broke the snow clearing budget with the one two weeks ago. The odds of spring flooding are rising. The citizenry is growing restive. The wind was blowing snow all day so I couldn't take the camera outside, but I shot these through the east and south windows this morning.

That's a good dump for an evening. Take care spring is on its way. =} Meanwhile keep shooting out the window, it has worked well for you. I too like the second.

Almost hate to tell you I was running around in shorts and a t-shirt yesterday as the mercury hit 79F. Be warmer today. All that dreary weather would make me go stark raving crazy. When I get three or four days of rain in a row, by day four I just want to hurt something Terrible, but true. I do like #2 but think I would like it without the railing just as much...maybe more.

Thanks, all. Chris, here's one with a little less rail for you: I'm surprised no one told me to brighten the other one; I thought for sure you would tell me to stretch the histogram on the highlight end.

Honestly, I got so hung up in too much rail, it never came into play. I like this newer version much better since the rail isn't trying to command my entire attention.

Snow. Snow. And more snow. . I like both if these Janis. I like the red light poking through and the contrast and curves in the snow and railing. Have some hot cocoa and enjoy the peacefulness that snow brings.

The second rail picture is actually a different shot, Chris. Glad you like it.
I will try to make the most of the snow, Mary, but am feeling some trepidation as there is more in the forecast for this weekend, followed by above zero temperatures and (gulp) rain. We could have a bit of a disaster on our hands.

I hope it goes slowly for you. We had some more now again at the weekend and I am getting bored of it now too. Sunday morning, I woke up it was bright sunshine so I thought great, kick the current mrs Webb out of bed and get out with the cameras for a while. By the time we had a cup of coffee and a crumpet there was a half inch of snow on the ground I like the railing pictures best Janis. Very nice and well exposed on a tough subject.

Thanks, Steve. I feel like I am making progress as far as exposure goes, though I am still having trouble with red.
