Why don't we try a shooting assignment for April? With the Easter weekend surely there can be no better excuse needed to get your gear out and being creative. The Assignment - 100 PacesPick a spot, any spot, anywhere. Walk 100 paces exactly, no more, no less. Wherever you stop take 3 images. Repeat 3 times to give you a series of 9 Images to submit The Rules The only rule is that images must be all your own work and have been taken after the date that this thread was started. Remember this is all just for fun but the more people that take part, the more we all learn from the process. Go on........have a go

We should add a Google GPS marker for the start point. Just go to the google maps, find your location and right click, picking "What's Here" as the marker point.

These images were made...feet planted 100 paces in from the start of a boardwalk at my favorite birding spot. First we have a female bullfrog down and left of me at water level. Next....afemale Red Winged Blackbird sitting on eggs down and to the right of me about 2 1/2 ft above the water. Last...we have a map turtle sitting on top of a red eared slider turtle about 30 yrds out between the last two images.

Thats gonna be a hard act to follow Paul, I was not quite so spoiled for choice I love the bullfrog. The stick looks like he is holding a fishing rod

OK, so here are my efforts. This is the Location 52.496467,-0.771952 I kind of cheated a bit with the first one because I saw a great tree loaded with blossom and tried to guess where to start in order to reach it in 100 steps. I wasn't too far off ;D First 100 - Shot 1 - Big House:Big Tree First 100 - Shot 2 - Big View:Big Tree First 100 - Shot 3 - Big View:Big Shadow Second 100 - Shot 1 - House on the Hill Second 100 - Shot 2 - Seat on the Hill Second 100 - Shot 3 - Crap on the Hill Third 100 - Shot 1 - Evening Light on the Leaves Third 100 - Shot 2 - Evening Light through a Fishies Eyes Third 100 - Shot 3 - Evening Light on Nettles (Fractalised) I had real fun doing this and can thoroughly recommend having a go.

Fantastic stuff Rie. I love Through the knothole, Rush Hour (this could be great with some really gritty PP ), and the last shot, bagworms is a real beauty. Oh and Lizzie is georgeous, but we already knew that
