Sadly, as it turns out, it is a day to be remembered for more than the weather. Shot this morning, April 15, 2013, and the snow is still falling.

I'm glad I live down South.

There was a graphic element to this shot, I couldn't resist taking a shot at...forgive me for once again whittling away at one of your images...but they are so much fun.

Hey, how'd you do that??
I guess it is more purely abstract, and I do like it, but I also like my version. I am curious to know what others think. What do you say, people, do you clearly prefer one over the other, and if so, why? If you don't like either, feel free to say that, too.

Cloning tool first, then did a color toning adjustment on the remaining blue bar, matching it to the long diagonal. Actually pretty simple.

I prefer Chris' edit. It makes it much simpler, all about the lines and colour rather than the detail that may be hiding behind the drops. Great shot to start with though and sorry you are still having snow. At least spring has finally come here but with it came some heavy rain and wind

Thanks for the feedback, Steve; I appreciate it. There was another dusting of snow on the ground this morning. The forecast is still looking bleak.

I like the edit. It might be even stronger with some of the white area cropped off the top.
