Some more from the lake, shot this weekend. All fairly pedestrian, I fear. On the Saturday, I took my 105 mm macro to the beach as there had been fabulous sand and ice features there on my last visit that would have lent themselves nicely to it, but the ice was a mile out and the sand features had been obliterated by the rising water. So I just shot some landscapes, most of which suffered from the shallow depth of field. This is one that I thought wasn't too bad. #1 The rest were shot on Sunday with my 35 mm. I had Stella with me, so I didn't carry the tripod. Although these were all shot around the same time, the colour is not consistent as I have been playing around with the processing tools. Your C&C is welcome. #2 #3 #4 #5 And the shoot wouldn't be complete without an attempt at a semi-abstract, ergo: #6

Nice shots Janis. I like 1, 3 and 4. I like Chris' edits too.

Thanks, Chris and Joe. I like the colour edit, Chris, the b&w not so much, maybe because what attracted me to this scene was the layering of a simple palette of colour. But I appreciate seeing your take on it.
