Great image, love the early morning fog. Again just the right amount, although I am feeling like there is a bit to much foreground.

Paul might be right about the crop, but it is a lovely image, Chris. Kudos to you for being up early enough to catch it.

First ferry off the island and I had to make a second ferry about 60 miles away by 9:15 am.
I am revisiting this one but I think more to darken the upper left clouds than to crop the foreground though I will also give that consideration.

I like this without the dark clouds at the top at all. They seem at odds with the rest of the image.

This is one of those atmospheric conditions that only makes sense to the people who live out there. Jeeperman probably understands it more, but even he doesn't get to see this kind of light because once it gets over his way, those lovely clouds just jam up together against the sides of the Snosquamish mountains and drizzle rain on him for months at a time.
Losing the top clouds would kill the overall atmosphere far more than cropping the foreground.
But, he has a jeep and therefore can escape...drive Paul, drive!
