From the Amateur Photographic Science Page: Prepare: Ansco 64 to Warm Water ( ~50ºC ) | CAS # 7732-18-5 | 750 ml |
add and dissolve Kodak Elon ( P-Methylaminophenol Sulfate ) | CAS # 55-55-0 | 2.5 grams | Sodium Sulfite ( Anhydrous ) | CAS # 7757-83-7 | 25.0 grams | Hydroquinone | CAS # 123-31-9 | 6.5 grams | Sodium Carbonate (Monohydrated) | CAS # 5968-11-6 | 16.0 grams | Potassium Bromide ( Anhydrous ) | CAS # 7758-02-3 | 1.0 gram |
then add Cold Water ( ~20ºC ) | CAS # 7732-18-5 | to make 1,000 ml |
This is a clean-working developer of particular value for rapid development or development at high temperatures. Do not dilute for use. Normal development time--3 to 4 minutes at 20ºC, 2 to 3 minutes at 29ºC.
