We are visiting friends in Wales this weekend and I remembered Rob Marshall doing some pictures at this place. More to come but these are trying to get a different perspective with the fish eye.

Thanks Paul and Janis. Number 2 is my favourite too. In fact I think it has won a place on the wall of Webb Towers

#2 has a brill composition and view point but can you bring any of that sky back? it would help a lot tbh as it looks blown out or near too it, if you can bring some sky back your eye would fix on the waterfall first then and make it stronger

It was a bright but overcast day, no features in the sky at all, just solid white. Maybe I will try and slot a new one in at some point.

If you can get David to do a tutorial on dropping in different skies... ? hint hint hint. and of course, we know you are a busy man.

I think I am on the right track by making a color selection (in this case almost pure white), saving the selection, opening a cloud file and put it under the background (falls), then loading the falls selection and adding a mask to the BG layer and brush in the background. This doesn't work great on this image because of the brightness of the sky and equal brightness of the water but, David, am I on the right track?

Number 3 is a tough gig Chris. Number 2 is much more feasible to put a new sky on as the sky is separated from the water.
I will have a go at it and use it as a tute if if works.

The only reason I didn't do #2 is because it's a bit heavy on the orton effect and I no longer have that action. The clouds would have to have some of that effect to make a natural blend to the shot.
