The color version is horrid. The water was a funny shade of green and it just doesn't compare. I gagged until I gave thought to it being a B&W image.

I can see why you thought of B&W but the green water doesn't bother me at all. I prefer the color one.
The mono loses the spray coming off the top of the wave a bit too.

i think the colour works better for this image too, perhaps dropping the saturation on the greens, or even the hue to bring it more blue? eg:

yep, i had pushed lr to the max on the jpeg so this is better, makes a world of difference

Nice Chris! The color version looks better to me too. I can see why you called it a tube because you're not going to find any wave in the state of Florida that resembles a pipe line.
