Nice one Chris. How did you set the white balance, please?

I do a threshold adjustment layer, setting the blackest point (sometimes just a single pixel), then the whitest point with the eye drop picker tool (second one down on the flyout). Next, I make a curves adjustment and use the channels adjustments of red, green then blue where I set the white as close to 3, 4 or 5 and the black to 250-25-252 thereabouts trying to keep them relatively uniform. Click directly on the corners (each color channel line has its own dot, bottom left and top right. Use your arrow keys to move the numbers where you want them. This not only sets the white balance, it also sets the overall tonal balance giving you a great place to start from. Later this evening, I'll do a short tutorial on this technique using this image.
