Went to cheadle as we had heard there was an american civil war re-enactment, turned out to be a very small affair in a field in the middle of Cheadle so it was very difficult to get a clean background of any kind. I waited until the cannons had fired as I had seen the smoke covering up the spectators.

Love this image Dave.
I go to a re-enactment here in Florida for the Battle of Olustee. You can't get no were near any of the cannons there as they have the whole battle field roped off. And if you camp there, as it's a three day event, they won't let you dig as there are still remains buried in the woods from the original battle.
