On Beautiful Ridge

Beautiful Ridge sits above a abandoned coal mine. The ridge has been extensively logged as well. These images are at creek bottom part of the road, and as you come up the hill. All within less than a mile.

I think I may have blocked up the blacks a bit too much as I created some visual mystery among all the differing shades of green and yellow (with a bit of red tossed in for good luck). I still have the tiff file I built and may go have another go at it after my morning walk. I'm going to give the last one the same consideration later. I like these but as with any shots of the forest, green on green on green on yellow, gets very hard to work unless later in the PM or earlier in the AM.
