Thank you Chris and Marie for your comments I have been working in some 20 photographs almost at the same time (!) to this project in order to get some coherence in aestechital terms. The B&W was an option as I do like this way very much. On it I made a light tone keeping the tif file in case I change my mind. My main concern is that I sometimes get too much noise on all of them. Making the photographs a bit "dark" is intentional but it makes the dust on the sensor to pop. I have to clone them with care in order to get a sky as good as possible. The project is not yet on line.

Thank you George Very nice indeed Antonio. Are these from a recent trip? Yes Steve. We have been there this year, in the beginning of July ... A trip with some risks. Well, nothing special but very bad roads (closed some monthes) because of the snow, hight altitute (breathing problems, which we do not have at all) max 5.250m, politically instable with China in one side and Pakistan on the other. In spite of the crisis in Portugal, yes. We ask ourselves: If not now, when ? Then, we decide to go ! But it is harder and harder mainly in economical terms. Thank you Steve !

It almost doesn't look real Antonio, kind of "Other Worldly". I bet the print does it far more justice.

I have just printed 4 small A5 to get into the collections I am making for... myself. Kind of legacy you know... They are nice. I do like them and I can perfectly understand that there may be certain persons who don't. Normal. I was trying to show here in black and white a region where the global climate change has tremendous impacts like I have done before in Erode under another scale. I had to change all the legends bellow because it is not "A look at the Everest from India" but "A look at the Himalayas from India". And the 4 of them were already printed Well, as they are for "internal consumption" I am not going to print again. However, I have changed them all on the site. This one was photographed on the border of the lake Pangong Tso
