Probably way too busy. I photographed the inside of the church through a side window. There is a reflection of the background trees and graveyard in the window. You can see the pews, prayer books, and a chandelier as well as the opposite window. Should I tried to have squeezed in more? I find this one quite difficult to work out, I think it would had been better if either the window or the reflection was stronger.

Barry - Like a joke. If you have to explain it...

Too much of everything wrong to make this work...wrong exposure combined with multiple reflections makes it almost impossible to "fix." I did have a go at it, but not to much avail.

George, could you share the idea behind this and why you decided to take the shot?

It's a nifty idea...you should keep it simmering on the back burner. In six months, you'll see someone else who had the same idea and know why it works or doesn't and will gain some insight. You'll think some more without even realizing you are... Then, in two years, you'll notice it again and have another chance!

Giannis - I liked the juxtaposition of the reflected gravestones and the pews. I guess this crop is more what I had mind, but one or the other has to have the primary focus. 1-28-2009_008_crop by gmontjr, on Flickr

I guess this crop is more what I had mind, but one or the other has to have the primary focus. 1-28-2009_008_crop by gmontjr, on Flickr George, when I looked at your picture for the first time I was intrigued because there didn't seem to be a main focal point. I spent some time looking at it and tried to understand why you have shot this. It seemed to me that there was a connection between the gravestones and the pews. I reached a conclusion similar to you intention but I didn't say anything because it really wasn't very clear. I think that's because of some elements that don't contribute at all to the message: the candlelight, the window and a hint of your reflection. It's a nice idea however and I would like to see how you could better show it.
