Found this church a few years ago and shot it in film. Later, I inadvertantly scratched the negative so I went back to reshoot it, only to discover I couldn't find it. Today, I was out in the boonies, just wandering about looking for some good shooting when lo and behold, I came around a bend, and there was the church again. There is absolutlely nothing special about this church other than its wonderful symmetry. Anyway, thought you all would enjoy it as well.

This image works great breaking the rules by putting it bang in the middle. Did you consider cloning out some of the tree on right hand side to match left (not exactly thou).

Chris, that is so nice - the image you got originally, and being able to recreate it.

Wonderful Americana! I really like it, Chris! Too bad the clouds weren't poofy with sky, all the way to the bottom. Love it, though. and, I love the story....

Wonderful to re-find it, Chris. I love the symmetry of this. Often, I see comments about buildings shot straight on that are critical, but nearly always, I prefer a straight-on shot. Works so well in b & w, too.
