This is the old water filtration house near one of the reservoirs in the Brecon Beacons. It is still a grand building that was built in the Victorian times, but the roof timbers are now starting to decay. Anyway here is a quick view of it's contents. 1 2 3 4 5 6

Wow. #2 and 3 is just plain amazing, Barry. Loved how you composed the shot and kept that nice lighting on your PP work. I am 50/50 on #5. For me, the shot seems to whisper to me "... give me some softening to make me look dreamy." ;D The "force" is very strong on your B&W photography. ;D

Barry...er unless someone has photographed he same place I am sure have given C&C on one of these shots on another Forum...cant remember which Forum though. They are great conversions and you certainly have a talent with these urbex type shots. The light in No 5 is really striking. Great stuff

Great stuff I have put some of these on another forum to which I used to belong, but there was no C&C from a Steve, but this building has been open now since the beginning of the year, so I should imagine that there should had been quite a few photographers passing through.

Excellent shots, Barry. They really capture a good sense of decay in a place that was obviously once a vital part of the infrastructure. It's funny how 'decay' is such a recurring theme that holds our interest.

Six does it for me...excellent focus and composition...love how the light sets up such a clarification of tonal quality.

Great set altogether, but #'s 2 & 5 blow my whistle so much. Love, love, love the conversion and treatment.
