Shot yesterday afternoon. Three portrait mode images stitched in CS5. Ferryside is my nearest beach (2 miles). When we moved here 12 years ago, we rented one of those waters-side cottages on the far side. It was very nice to stroll out in the morning and walk along the beach. Sorry about that if you live in Watford, or Nebraska. Looks better here, on black bighugelabs.com/onblack.php?id=6488016063&posted=1&size=large

Oh, my word! Very charming! Lucky you! I like that you took this with the tide out (just coincidence?;-)) and I very much like the mood that I feel from the shape and textures of the leafless trees. This is so worth the panorama. Does it need an ever so slight ccw rotation or is it just the curve of the lines of water, sand, etc.?

I agree about taking this shot with the tide out, as the patterns and pools in the sand is so much more interesting than just sea. The green fields stand out nicely against the sky and winter trees.
Did you have any overlap on these images, as three portrait modes looks as if they would only just fit.

I never overlap much, and I just do it visually by picking out marker points such as cottages etc. The original shots were 3000x4000px, so the max available was only 9000px and the final stitch is just over 8000px. Not much overlap! I find you lose the most on the top and bottom, due to distortion.
